First Tenant Moves Into Hunt Tower
Though construction work hasn’t officially concluded, the new 230,000-SF Hunt Tower in Rogers has welcomed its first tenant.
The 10-story building at the corner of Pinnacle Hills Parkway and J. B. Hunt Drive is now the home of The Harvest Group, a sales and marketing firm that caters to the consumer packaged goods industry.
The company moved into a 14,000-SF space on the seventh floor on Nov. 1. Its previous address was just a few hundred yards south on South Market Street in The Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills Development.
John George, executive vice president of Hunt Ventures, the project developer, said leasing efforts for the building are ahead of schedule. He said another 80,000 SF would be occupied by mid-January, which would give the building an occupancy rate of approximately 40 percent.
“We are in discussions with several other prospects and expect more tenants to come within the next six months,” George wrote in an email.
Leasing is being led by Tom Allen of Pinnacle Realty Group, a subsidiary of Hunt Ventures.
Officials broke ground on the Hunt Tower, valued at approximately $42 million, in August 2014 and a topping out ceremony was held in March.
Crossland Construction of Rogers is leading construction of the building, which was designed by Core Architects of Rogers and assisted by Georg Andersen of Conway, who has provided residential interior and/or architectural design services for The White House (Kennedy administration), for the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion and for other clients in more than 18 states.
The building includes about 12,000 SF of common area space for tenants to use, as well as an exercise room.
George said a grand opening event for the office building will be held in early February.
