Metova Inc. Opening Office in Fayetteville, Creating New Jobs
Metova Inc., an emerging technology company, announced Oct. 13 that it is opening a new office in Fayetteville.
Metova creates apps, along with strategy, design, development and marketing for clients including Yelp, Dropbox, eHarmony, Flixster and the U.S. Department of Defense. The company is expanding from its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, and Conway to a new office in Fayetteville to meet the demands of the rapidly growing mobile and digital media industry, according to a news release.
Metova’s Fayetteville office will be at 112 W. Center St. in the EJ Ball Building, on the downtown square. The company expects to be in the new space by the first week of December.
“We are excited to announce Metova’s newest office expansion in Fayetteville, immediately creating 30 new jobs primarily in application programming and development,” John Adams, CEO of Metova, said in the release. “Northwest Arkansas is an ideal location for our latest expansion, where there is a great pool of talent, higher education opportunities, and a thriving business environment.”
“The fact that Metova is significantly expanding for the third time is a testament to the state’s growing reputation as a hub for tech companies,” Gov. Asa Hutchinson said in the news release. “The company has already announced more than 160 new jobs in Conway in 2015 and now brings 30 additional jobs to Northwest Arkansas.”
Metova is looking for developers who are excellent problem solvers with superior communication skills interested in working on great projects in a unique culture, according to the news release.
