Atlas Technology Group Partners With MaxPoint
Retail technology provider Atlas Technology Group of Bentonville has partnered with a digital advertising software firm in North Carolina to provide CPG companies and suppliers with a service that will deliver deeper store insights and more impactful digital marketing programs.
The partnership will combine the technology of MaxPoint — a company headquartered near Raleigh that just went public in March — with the sales and inventory system of ATG.
The goal is to give suppliers the ability to create digital programs that will drive store-level demand, according to a news release.
“Working with MaxPoint, we will further be able to help our customers accelerate strategic decision making,” ATG CEO Nick Dozier said in the release. “Data provides you with the insight to analyze the past, optimize the present and make strategic decisions for the future.”
MaxPoint, founded in 2007, provides a technology-driven alternative to traditional local marketing methods for various brands across a number of industries.
ATG, founded in 2008, creates software applications used by retail suppliers to automate and analyze sales data. ATG integrates its products with retailers’ internal platforms and data sources to provide CPG companies with a comprehensive view of their product status and sales performance.
ATG is a division of California-based Advantage Sales & Marketing, which bought the company earlier this year.
