Mike Farquhar is the new owner of the local sales branch of Pella Corp.

Pella Products of Arkansas & Missouri was established in May when Farquhar acquired the business from Kevin Horton of Maumelle, who retired. Besides Farquahar, Dylan Bruton is the local sales contact and team leader for Northwest Arkansas.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

The local branch serves customers in Arkansas and southwest Missouri from locations in Bentonville (1003 S.E. 14th St.), North Little Rock and Springfield, Missouri. The Bentonville office opened in July after relocating from a previous location of 1014 Athens Ave. in Springdale.

Farquahar said the local branch has 23 employees — 18 between the two Arkansas locations and five in Springfield.

Farquhar has worked for Pella for 20 years. Before acquiring the local branch, he was president of EFCO Corp. in Monett, Missouri. EFCO is the commercial window, door, storefront and curtain wall subsidiary of Pella Corp.

Pella is a designer, manufacturer and installer of made-to-order and custom windows, doors, blinds and shades for new construction, remodeling and replacement applications for home and commercial markets.

Based in Pella, Iowa, Pella Corp. is a family-owned company celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2015.
