Haas Hall Goes to Court with Former Landlord
Haas Hall Academy and its former landlord, Tracy Hoskins and his Paradigm Building LLC, head to Washington County Circuit Court on Sept. 21.
There they’ll find out if the school did indeed break its lease, as Hoskins has alleged, or if Hoskins is a spoiled sport trying to bilk a former tenant out of about $500,000.
The case is in Beth Storey Bryan’s court.
In the meantime, both sides have agreed that certain discovery and litigation materials — in particular documents produced by BancorpSouth — should be marked confidential and never be made part of the public record. And if they are to be left in the public record, then they should be under seal.
Wise move, keeping that dirty laundry out of view.
