Former Clarion Inn on Market for $3M
Here’s a bit more news from the hospitality sector, albeit on a much larger scale.
Three years after it last sold, the 197-room former Clarion Inn at 1255 S. Shiloh Drive in Fayetteville is now being offered for $3 million, or $15,228 per room.
Butch Gurganus of Colliers International in Bentonville is marketing the property, near the intersection of Interstate 49 and Arkansas Highway 62, as either an opportunity to use the existing hotel or to build a new development on the site.
Built in 1986, the 81,098-SF building sits on 7.05 acres and was last sold to JGHG LLC — which listed Jasdeep Grewal as the registered agent — and Charles Wilkerson in October 2012 for $1.5 million.
They re-flagged the property into a Guesthouse Inn International, but the building has sat vacant for months.
It includes an atrium amenity area, restaurant, club and indoor swimming pool.
