East-Harding Begins Work on New NWA Office in Tontitown
Little Rock-based commercial construction firm East-Harding Inc. will soon relocate its Northwest Arkansas office from downtown Springdale to Tontitown.
The company recently bought a 9,760-SF building in the Tontitown Business Park for $535,000, a purchase price of $54.81 per SF.
Bear State Bank in Fayetteville provided financing with a mortgage of $532,780.
President and CEO Van Tilbury said the single-story building at 500 E. Henri De Tonti Blvd., is being refurbished, with a goal to move into the space before the end of the year.
East-Harding entered the market in July 2014 when it leased about 1,000 SF in a building owned by David Chapman at 109 Spring St. It was the first divisional office in the history of the company, which was founded in 1974.
The office has since grown from four employees to nine.
“We have enjoyed working in Northwest Arkansas for almost 20 years, and we were very excited to open our first NWA office last year in a leased space,” Tilbury said in a statement. “Since that time, our client-focused, cost-competitive approach to construction has been very well received.”
Mid-America Management Associates LLC of Fayetteville, led by acting manager Richard P. Osborne, was the building’s previous owner.
