Rogers Manufacturer Secures Licensing Deal With Nickelodeon
Headwear and apparel company Infinity Product Group recently announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Nickelodeon to manufacture, distribute and market its trademarked Comfy Critters line of toys based on four of the cable network’s animated television shows.
The Rogers-based manufacturer will launch the products for “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “PAW Patrol” and “Blaze and the Monster Machine.”
Comfy Critters are wearable hooded blankets that can also be transformed into a plush stuffed animal. The product line, made of 100 percent polyester coral fleece, includes prehistoric, farm, sea and fantasy animals and will debut in time for the 2015 holiday season.
IPG president and CEO Doug Keller said the Nickelodeon products are expected to debut in the fall of 2016.
“IPG has a long history of providing retailers with great products and services, and we look forward to bringing a new product to the market with Nickelodeon,” said Keller, who founded IPG in 1997.
The multiyear dear is through Dec. 31, 2017.
IPG has been recognized as one of Arkansas’ fastest-growing companies. Last year, Inc. magazine ranked the company No. 1,824 on its 33rd annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.
IPG ranked No. 2 among Arkansas companies after achieving a three-year sales growth of 227 percent, with 2013 revenue at $28.7 million, up from 2010’s $8.8 million.
