The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce has begun accepting applications to fill its top staff position after longtime President & CEO Terry C. Hartwick announced his decision to step down at the end of the year.

Hartwick has accepted a position as Director of the City of North Little Rock Parks & Recreation, beginning January 1, 2016. He has served as the chief executive for the North Little Rock Chamber for the past 15 years.

“The Chamber greatly appreciates Terry’s service for the last 15 years. Under his leadership, the Chamber membership has grown to over 1,600 businesses. I’m confident that we’ll find the right person to fill his shoes,” said Steve Winchester, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors.

The North Little Rock Chamber will be accepting applications for the new position through July 31, 2015. Interested applicants are asked to visit www.nlrchamber.org/ceo for details, or to contact the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce at 501-372-5959 or via e-mail at [email protected].

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce was originally formed in 1946. In 1977, it merged with the Little Rock Chamber and was named the Little Rock/North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.

In 1984, the North Little Rock economic development organization was re-established and is now the third largest chamber in the state.
