Hot Springs Chamber Leader To Participate In White House Economic Event
Jim Fram, President and CEO of the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Hot Springs Metro Partnership, will participate in the fourth annual Economic Development Forum at the White House, the Spa City organization said.
The invitation was issued by the White House Business Council on behalf of the Obama Administration, SelectUSA, and the International Economic Development Council.
This is the second year that Fram has been invited to be a part of this event which will take place on Thursday, July 30. Fram is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Economic Development Council.
Over the course of the day, invitees who are professional economic developers from across the country, will be connected with key administration policy makers and will learn about forthcoming and existing administration initiatives aimed at job creation. Participants will also be asked for input on efforts.
“Jim Fram is a tremendous asset for our community. His expertise in economic development garners attention on the state, federal and international level. We are extremely fortunate to have him working on our behalf,” said Brian Hill, Hot Springs Metro Partnership Chairman.
The Hot Springs Metro Partnership is the area’s public/private economic development organization, serving all of the Hot Springs region.
