Waco Title Co. Earns ALTA Certification

Waco Title Co. of Springdale recently received an unqualified audit opinion certifying that the company adheres to the American Land Title Association’s Best Practices standards. 

CEO Patrick Curry said while an audit is not a requirement to do business here in Northwest Arkansas, many larger metro areas now require that title companies independently verify their process through it.

“The Best Practices audit demonstrates to our customers that Waco has measures in place to protect private financial information and that procedures are followed to ensure proper handling of a real estate closing,” Curry said.

Waco Title is the first title insurance agency in Arkansas and Missouri to obtain this certification from an independent auditor, according to a press release.
