TED Posts Its 2,000th Talk
This past week, TED leaders announced they posted the 2,000th talk on their website. Nine years ago, the organization began posting TED talks including the first by former Vice President Al Gore.
The website houses thousands of TED and TEDx talks from around the world. It is a great place to catch up with some of the most popular talks ever.
According to TED, Margaret Heffernan’s “Why it’s time to forget the pecking order at work” became the 2,000th talk posted.
TED has been helping facilitate and share “Ideas worth spreading” since 1984.
Some talks worth watching include TED’s must see talks, which you can find at this link, and TED’s most popular talks, which you can watch here.
With Little Rock’s TEDxMarkhamSt coming in July, perusing the TED and TEDx library can help attendees become more acquainted.
In addition, for those who are giving talks, TED recently posted an article sharing advice for giving talks that have impact.
The author, Kate Torgovnick May, offered 12 different thoughts for giving that great talk. The ideas are great for giving a talk in any event.
