Restaurant Delivery Service Enters Second Year with Push

NWA Delivery enters its second year looking to boost business through advertising and an enhanced website.

Justin Day, owner of NWA Delivery, is in the process of gearing up for an advertising push, a mobile app, improved website and expanded hours as the restaurant delivery company celebrates its first year in business.

NWA Delivery, with more than a dozen drivers working as independent contractors, delivers throughout the region. Customers place their orders over the company’s website at nwadelivery.com, and the company takes care of the rest. NWA Delivery generates revenue through restaurant discounts and delivery fees.

Day, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan as both a soldier and a civilian, decided to open the company when he realized that outside of fast-food pizza restaurants, nobody delivered.

“If you’ve ever not wanted to get off the couch and go get food, you’re our customer,” Day said. “Our demographic is all over the place.”

He said the company transports as many as 40 orders a day, but he’s looking to increase that output by a substantial amount, hence the advertising push.

Soon, Day will not be the only restaurant delivery service in Northwest Arkansas. Little Rock-based food delivery company Chef Shuttle recently launched a Rogers location (5500 Pinnacle Point Drive) and started deliveries on June 17 to zip codes 72712, 72718, 72756 and 72758 in Bentonville and Rogers.

A minimum food order of $15 is required, plus a $4.95 delivery fee.

NWA Delivery requires minimum orders for some restaurants, and delivery fees start at $3.99.
