8th & Walton Partners With CPG Software Company
Bentonville-based company 8th & Walton has announced a partnership with a data analytics company in Ohio whose work is aimed at makers of consumer packaged goods.
8th & Walton, a supplier development firm, will begin offering training and joint business planning using a software analytics platform developed by T-Pro Solutions Inc. 8th & Walton, founded in 2006, provides training to suppliers on how to build successful relationships with Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
The partnership, according to 8th & Walton owner and CEO Jeff Clapper, will give suppliers the ability to improve buyer relationships with Walmart and maximize process efficiency.
“A strong sense of urgency is critical to a successful Walmart relationship, and suppliers can quickly and accurately see how their business is doing against projections and forecasts, adjusting as needed,” Clapper said. “We teach and train to solve everyday business challenges, not theory, and this platform is a very effective tool for doing the same.”
T-Pro Solutions founder Wayne Spencer has nearly 40 years of experience in the industry including Procter & Gamble Co. and Johnson & Johnson. He said the ultimate business objective of the partnership is to develop an industry leading “Center of Business Intelligence” to help CPG companies achieve the objectives with Walmart and other retail partners
8th & Walton and T-Pro Solutions will be conducting a two-hour symposium June 9 beginning at 8:30 a.m. to demonstrate the integration of the T-Pro platform into the Walmart joint business planning process.
The symposium will be held at the 8th & Walton corporate offices in Bentonville.
