Loretta Lynch, recently confirmed as the U.S. attorney general, appointed U.S. attorney Conner Eldridge of the Western District of Arkansas, along with five others, to the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee.

Eldridge, the youngest U.S. attorney in the country at 37, is joined on the committee by U.S. attorneys Deirdre Daly of Connecticut, Steven Dettelbach of Ohio, Paul Fishman of New Jersey, Booth Goodwin Jr. of West Virginia, and Kenneth Polite of Louisiana.

“The distinguished men and women who serve on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee provide invaluable advice and wise counsel that help shape the Justice Department’s approach to combating crime, violence, and injustice in every community across the country,” Lynch said.

The 21-member advisory committee was created in 1973.
