Local Tech Startup Lands Private Customer Feedback Option at XNA
Support from the state, along with a local, high-profile early adopter, has given Fayetteville-based tech startup Skosay a shot in the arm.
The online, two-way consumer feedback platform allows a customer to send a private, instant message to a company. The customer also has the option to add a photo with the message.
If the company is in the Skosay network, it may then respond in a private, instant message.
Viability of the customer feedback platform is contingent on companies becoming a part of the Skosay network, and Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) joined the ranks in March.
“Skosay allows us to gather insightful feedback from our travelers and talk back to them, which is one of the most valuable features of this technology,” airport director Kelly Johnson said in a news release from Skosay.
And the platform is also getting validation from the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority, which recently invested $100,000 as part of its Technology Development Program.
“Skosay’s technology is changing the way we look at physical comment cards, 1-800 numbers, and meaningful engagement between businesses and its customers,” Steve Stanley, vice president of commercialization at ASTA, said in the news release. “This tech startup has aspects similar to those of Silicon Valley’s, but its vision and strategy has what it takes to truly make an impact on not only Arkansas’ economy but also how businesses everywhere will engage with customers.”
Skosay was founded by consumer packaged goods veterans Justin Urso and Jason Kohrig, and was a 2014 ARK Challenge accelerator participant.
