Arrowhead Building Supply Marks Third Year in Lowell

Arrowhead Building Supply Inc. celebrated the third anniversary at its Lowell location in April.

The local store boasts about 500 local customers and did $5 million in sales in 2014, said Rick Pogue, chief managing officer.

Pogue said Arrowhead, based in Missouri, is unique in the industry because of its free, same-day delivery policy, in addition to its shingle recycling process.

“Very few building suppliers across the country do anything close to what we do,” he said. “Ninety-five percent of our competition does not have a service like this.”  

The company also constructs its own customized truck beds, conveyor belts, bins and job lockers, Pogue said.

Arrowhead is located at 418 S. Bloomington, and it purchased the 3-acre property, which features a 32,000-SF showroom/warehouse, in April 2014.

Company general manager Jim LoPiccolo said the firm is planning a full renovation to the property during the next year.
