Con-way Multimodal, the freight brokerage division of San Francisco-based Menlo Logistics, has relocated its local office from the Bentonville Plaza across from the headquarters of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to Bentonville Commerce, an eight-building group of office properties on Walton Boulevard near the Bentonville Post Office.

The company also plans to add 25 new jobs in the area, according to a news release.

“This expansion in Bentonville reflects our success in strategically increasing our operations and supports our ongoing effort to attract the industry’s top talent,” said Con-way Multimodal president Greg Orr. “Our ambitious, committed and passionate employees are our most valuable asset, and as we continue to grow, we’ll be adding more team members throughout our network.”

The company’s lease at Bentonville Commerce is for five years.

Con-way Multimodal opened in Bentonville in 2011 and since then has grown from six employees to 28 — serving more than 250 customers for intermodal, full truckload and freight brokerage services.

The company moved to Bentonville Commerce in preparation for a growing team and customer base.

Con-way Multimodal manages shipper needs for over-the-road, intermodal, flatbed, heavy-haul and specialized transportation resources. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, the company has offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Portland, Oregon; and Bentonville.

The company also maintains an international office in Amsterdam, serving shippers throughout Europe.

Bentonville Plaza and Bentonville Commerce are both owned by FBE Limited LLC of New York, a privately held real estate and capital management company, and managed by Sage Partners of Fayetteville.
