Real Estate Industry Veteran Nadine Yates Dies at 69
Nadine Yates of Fayetteville, a licensed Realtor for more than 40 years, died Feb. 25 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was 69.
Yates began her real estate career in 1972, according to her obituary. She was most recently a senior vice president and executive broker for Lindsey & Associates of Fayetteville, where she worked for more than 20 years.
Yates was recognized with numerous awards and designations for her work in the real estate industry, and she served on various real estate committees at the local, state and national level.
Yates was also active in the local theatre, and served on the board of directors of the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale.
“Nadine was a wonderful person who had a God-given gift with people,” said John David Lindsey, principal broker of the firm. “Her likeability with clients was second to none. She enjoyed every day and got great satisfaction out of making her customers happy. She will be greatly missed.”
Funeral services through Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville were held March 3 at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
