Gabe Holmstrom Named Executive Director Of Downtown Little Rock Partnership
Gabe Holmstrom has been named as the new executive director of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership.
He replaces Sharon Priest, who retired as the leader of the downtown nonprofit in January.
“I am delighted that Gabe has accepted our offer as executive director and will start on Monday, April 6th,” said Susie Smith, president of the DLRP Board of Directors. “He steps into his new position at a time of tremendous growth downtown. We are confident that he will continue to bring the excellence in Partnership leadership that we have come to expect.”
Holmstrom previously served as chief of staff to the Arkansas House of Representatives, and handled public affairs for Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods after a decade in state and federal government and politics. He has also served as an aide to former Cong. Marion Berry.
“I am honored to join the Downtown Little Rock Partnership during such an exciting time in our city,” said Holmstrom. “I look forward to working with all of the Arkansans who live, work, play and invest downtown to create a vibrant heart for our capital city.”
Holmstrom lives downtown in the Governor’s Mansion Historic District and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a member of the Arkansas State Board of Finance and board member of the Quapaw Quarter Association.
The DLRP is a nonprofit group that advocates for planning, legislation, transportation, economic development and numerous public and private initiatives to improve downtown Little Rock.
