CycleWood Lands Deal with The Bramton Co.
The companies in Fayetteville-based VIC Technology Venture Development LLC’s investment portfolio are doing well for themselves lately.
Dallas-based The Bramton Co., maker of dog waste pickup products Bags on Board, recently signed an industry-exclusive agreement with VIC company cycleWood Solutions, Reuters reported on March 4.
CycleWood will produce a line of biodegradable bags called the Green Pups line, made with lignin, a renewable material that is a byproduct of the paper industry.
The line will be available this summer. Bags on Board products are available nationwide, in stores including Petco and Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Meanwhile, Fayetteville-based BlueInGreen, another VIC portfolio company, is continuing its international expansion by partnering with Canada-based Resource Systems Inc. — a move that furthers its initiative to address the global clean water supply and quality crisis.
