The Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce recently unveiled its updated website, www.bbvchamber.com, at a VIP launch party at the 21c Museum Hotel north of the downtown square.

The new website, designed by integrated marketing firm WhyteSpyder, features upgraded interactive calendars for events as well as local business success stories told in video segments by Vista Productions.

According to a press release issued by the chamber, the goal of the upgrade was to keep the technology current, and to make a statement to local businesses that the chamber remains a viable source of support.

“It’s truly a celebration any time you recreate a website,” said Tammy Thurow, the chamber’s vice president of marketing and membership services. “You always love the new and improved. That’s definitely what this is and we’re excited about it.”

One video features the Meteor Guitar Gallery, located at 128 W. Central Ave. in the old Meteor and Plaza Theater. Home to an impressive collection of instruments, musical gear and local art, the Meteor is one of the new businesses reshaping Bentonville.

“Whether it’s Walmart or a residential house cleaning service, there is a platform now,” Eric Howerton, a senior consultant with WhyteSpyder, said of the updated website.
