Van Buren Chamber of Commerce Prime Time Expo

The stage is set for the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce's Prime Time Expo, where new members will be in the spotlight for all the community to see. The Chamber of Commerce will showcase its stars with a "A Night at the Oscars" themed business exposition that will include delicious food, music and movies, and great networking opportunities. Participants will set up booths for visitors to browse, ask questions, and learn about all the great things Chamber members have to offer. Booth space will be exclusively available to new members who joined during the November 2013 drive or in the months that followed, and participating volunteers. 

Participants are encouraged to be creative with their displays and dress. A panel of "critics" or judges will be on scene visiting each booth to select winners for numerous "Academy Awards." Categories will include Best Dressed Actor/Actress in a Leading Role, Best Dressed Booth, and Best Screenplay, which will focus on the content and information provided by participants to visitors at the event. Visitors and participants will also enjoy delicious food, as well as movie clips and soundtracks from some of the most beloved films of all times. Guests will also have the chance to take home one of the many door prizes that will be offered by participating vendors. 

Prime Time will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Van Buren, located at 1403 City Park Road in Van Buren, from 5:17 to 7:17 p.m. Admission is free.
