Kicking off the first of several pending announcements, Talk Business & Politics has launched a new microsite aimed at the Arkansas technology, entrepreneurial and startup communities.

The new sites can be accessed at TalkBusiness.net/Startup or TalkBusiness.net/Tech.

The site features a combination of local, state and national news; opinion and analysis from experts in the field; videos and interviews with state and national entrepreneurial leaders; a calendar of events of activities across the state; and Arkansas resources for startup companies.

Content on the site will appeal to general business readers, but there will also be much richer content aimed at business leaders and policy makers in the entrepreneurial field from budding startup companies to the most well-established success stories.

“This is the first of several microsites we hope to launch to feed even more news and opinions to a hungry, growing and robust entrepreneurial business community in Arkansas,” said TB&P Editor-in-Chief Roby Brock. “Content will evolve daily on the news site and we will add more to the space as readers provide us with their feedback, needs and desires.”

First Security Bank has partnered with TB&P on this new endeavor as a lead underwriter.

“First Security is dedicated to investing in Arkansas businesses and growing alongside each of them. That’s why we are always eager to learn of industry growth and the success of other Arkansas companies,” said Chairman and CEO Reynie Rutledge. “Our partnership with Talk Business will allow us the opportunity to share these stories with readers of our website, OnlyInArk.com.”

OnlyInArk.com aggregates selective Arkansas-centric stories related to business and entrepreneurship, food and travel, and sports and culture. TB&P and OnlyInArk.com will share content with each other.
