Northwest Arkansas Council to Announce New Strategic Plan
The Northwest Arkansas Council on Jan. 27 will share details about a new strategic plan for the region and also discuss the positive effects of the Greater Northwest Arkansas Development Strategy, which the council has been using since 2011.
Work on the development strategy by the council and its regional partners played an important role in increasing jobs, increasing average annual wages, improving educational attainment and expanding quality-of-life amenities in Northwest Arkansas, according to a press release from the council.
The announcement will be made during the nonprofit organization’s annual winter meeting at Embassy Suites in Rogers.
Northwest Arkansas Council meetings are not open to the public.
