Apple Pay Is Poised To Tap Into The Trillion-Dollar Service Industry
Sam Madden, co-founder of PocketSuite and contributor to Enterpreneur magazine, explains how Apple Pay is poised to have a powerful impact on “consumer-facing” industries.
Madden notes that Apple Pay has yet to fully tap into the services industry, but he outlines four reasons why he expects it to:
- Customer convenience. Consumer adoption of Apple Pay has been huge so far, as its one-touch thumbprint ID is the most convenient way to pay.
- Mobile. Most service business owners – trainers, cleaners, photographers, handymen, etc. – are on the go.
- Payment security. Credit card hacking is a huge threat to consumers in the U.S. Apple Pay bypasses the swipe.
- Brand association. Integrating Apple Pay into your business gives you direct brand association with Apple, a brand of trust.
