6th Annual Empty Bowls

The Van Buren High School Art Club and FCCLA are sponsoring the 6th annual Empty Bowls event. For $15 guests are invited to come pick out a handmade ceramic bowl made by VBHS students and partake in a dinner of soup and bread with other community members. The bowl is then washed and taken home as a reminder of the "empty bowls" in our community and the world. The money raised will go to the Community Service Clearinghouse "Meals for Kids" Program. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 pm at the Van Buren High School Commons (main entrance). 2001 Pointer Trail East.
