In response to growing market demand in Arkansas and across the U.S., Pinnacle North Corporate Aircraft Interiors is expanding its operation with the purchase of a new facility and the hiring of an additional 25 workers.

Little Rock-based Pinnacle North specializes in the production, customization and refurbishment of corporate aircraft interiors, serving global customers.

Utilizing Arkansas’ New Markets Jobs Act of 2013, Pinnacle North was able to acquire $1.75 million in financing to expand its capacity from a 14,000 sq. ft. facility to its new 80,000 sq. ft. location. The New Markets law was enacted to encourage private sector investment by providing tax credits tied to private capital investments. Companies that meet certain eligibility criteria receive financing at competitive rates.

“The New Markets legislation provided me an opportunity to obtain the financing I needed to grow my business,” said Ronnie Powell, owner of Pinnacle North Corporate Aircraft Interiors. “Expanding into this facility and hiring more workers will allow my company to meet the increasing demand for the high-quality, skilled services we provide.”

“Putting more private capital into the hands of our entrepreneurs in our city is a good investment,” said Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola. “When we grow businesses and increase the number of good-paying jobs, we better our community and strengthen our economy.”

Among those attending the facility opening were Congressman Tim Griffin, Mayor Mark Stodola, Arkansas Economic Development Commission Executive Director Grant Tennille, members of the Arkansas General Assembly, members of the Little Rock Airport Commission and industry representatives.
