Little Rock-based real estate fund CapRocq Core 2 Real Estate Fund LP announced Oct. 20 that Mark Saviers has joined the fund’s management team.

Saviers is a partner at commercial real estate firm Sage Partners of Fayetteville.

CapRocq Core 2 is a related entity to CapRocq Core Real Estate Fund LP, which was announced in January 2013 with an initial capitalization of $50 million. It included $165 million in property acquisitions in four states, one involving a group of five office buildings off South Dixieland Road in Lowell, just north of the headquarters of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc.

Kevin Huchingson and Franklin McLarty are the co-founders of CapRocq, which buys assets throughout the Midwest and Southeast portions of the country. Other members include Dewitt Smith and Ted Dickey.

CapRocq Core 2 was established in July with the acquisition of Village on the Creeks, a 270,000-SF, mixed-use development in Rogers.

The fund recently announced its second acquisition: the Regency Executive Park, a 265,000-SF office complex in Charlotte, North Carolina.

CapRocq is represented exclusively by Colliers International-Arkansas.
