NWA State of the Region Luncheon Set for October

The Northwest Arkansas Council and the University of Arkansas Center for Business and Economic Research will present the State of the Northwest Arkansas Region at a luncheon on Oct. 2, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Convention Center in Springdale.
The purpose of the event is to provide a thorough examination of the area’s competitive position and its economic health, pulling perspectives from the business community, academic world and local government.
The research center, a facet of the Sam M. Walton College of Business, will also deliver its Quarterly Business Analysis.
Seats are $30 apiece. Preregistration is required, and the deadline is Monday, Sept. 29. Registration is available online through the CBER website at cber.uark.edu.
