Fifth Annual Rockin’ With The Razorbacks

The fifth annual Rockin’ with the Razorbacks pep rally will take place next Friday, Sept. 19, from 5:00-6:45 p.m. at the Northwest Arkansas Mall. A collaboration between the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Arkansas Mall and Razorback Athletics, the rally is free to all fans.

Among the highlights of the evening include appearances from the Arkansas spirit squads, mascots, band, coaches and student-athletes. Women’s basketball head coach Jimmy Dykes as well as men’s basketball assistant coach Matt Zimmerman are set to speak at the rally.

The pep rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. with autographs from student-athletes to immediately follow. Members from the men’s and women’s basketball programs, as well as the gymnastics, women’s golf, men’s and women’s track and baseball programs are among those scheduled to sign autographs.

The following day the Razorback football team takes on Northern Illinois at 6 p.m. inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
