Cranford Brothers Open Full-service Firm
Jay Cranford, Ross Cranford, and Chris Cranford have founded a new full-service firm for advertising, marketing, digital media and social communications. The company will be called Cranford Co.
“The ‘co’ stands for company, of course, but also collaboration, cooperation, community and a whole lot more,” said Ross Cranford.
The three Cranford brothers left their father’s namesake firm, advertising powerhouse, CJRW, earlier this year.
“We’re passionate about the power of creativity to produce big ideas that build brands and change markets,” said Jay Cranford, whose career in advertising started more than 20 years ago in California and includes stints as Creative Director and Chief Creative Officer at Arkansas’s two largest agencies.
“The quality of your communication reflects the quality of your products,” said Chris Cranford, “We have the ability to engage audiences using the latest technologies like digital video and social media, with high production value for a variety of budgets.”
Cranford Co. has hired John Hornor Jacobs for art, digital and web design. Jacobs is also an internationally published author. Together, the team has more than 65 years of experience in the ad industry.
The three Cranford brothers are the sons of Wayne Cranford, a member of the state’s Business Hall of Fame and the inaugural class of the Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame. He will serve the new agency in an “of counsel” role, as will Ambassador Mary Mel French, Chief of Protocol for the United States from 1997-2000.
The agency is currently in negotiations for office space in the downtown Little Rock area.
