20th Annual Artists of Northwest Arkansas Exhibition

Forty-two Arkansans are among the sixty-nine (69) artists who have been accepted into 20th Annual Juried 10-state Exhibition of Artists of Northwest Arkansas, which opens Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas.
The final awards judging will be by Scott Mattlin, master impressionist, of Denver, Colorado, who is also leading a three day workshop for artists at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Rogers, Arkansas. The figurative and still life workshop will focus on painting instruction in oil, acrylic and watercolor.
The ANA exhibition runs through August 29, 2014. A public reception and special awards ceremony will be held, Saturday, August 9, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. The majority of the works will be for sale, ranging from $100 to $9,000. All major credit cards will be accepted.
The exhibition is ANA’s largest fundraiser each year. Funds raised from individuals and corporations are used to offer scholarships to area high school students, provide monthly educational speakers at monthly meetings, and help fund workshops and exhibitions for the members and the public.
