Portable Kitchens, Inc., also known as PK Grills, announced additions to its ownership group, including a long-time PK VP of Operations and three PK Grill enthusiasts with extensive C-level and executive operating experience.

PK also announced the launch of a new website, www.pkgrills.com.

The company has added as owners Jeff Humiston, Scott Moody and Brian Taylor, members of the executive team who started Allied Wireless in Little Rock in 2010 after several rural properties were spun off as part of an acquisition and divestiture deal.

At Allied, Humiston served as General Counsel, Moody served as Vice President of Marketing, and Taylor served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

“I have been looking for the right partners to help grow PK for some time, and I believe the addition of Jeff Humiston, Scott Moody and Brian Taylor as owners of PK helps position us to realize the commercial promise of this well-loved product which I am so passionate about,” said Paul James, PK Grills chairman. “These guys are avid outdoorsmen and grilling enthusiasts who are passionate about PK, and they bring business experiences and core values that are very complementary to the PK team.”

PK Grills was part of a feature story from Talk Business & Politics last year.

The Little Rock-based charcoal grill company has been in existence since 1952. It went out of production in the mid-1970’s before James resurrected it.
