NWA Business Leader Edwin G. Bradberry Dies at 82
Edwin G. Bradberry, a leader in the Northwest Arkansas business community for decades, died June 16 at his home in Fayetteville. He was 82.
In 1977, Bradberry founded Continental Ozark Inc., a Fayetteville-based company in the business of transporting, storing, terminaling and wholesale marketing of petroleum products, primarily unleaded gasoline, diesel oil and jet fuel.
Continental Ozark marked annual sales of more than $500 million with seven locations in four states when the assets sold to TransMontaigne in April 1995. Afterward, Bradberry owned about 1.5 percent of the stock in TransMontaigne.
Bradberry later tended to B & B Resources Inc., an investment firm located in Fayetteville, where he was president and CEO for 45 years.
According to his obituary, Bradberry was a noted philanthropist and was a charter member of both the Northwest Arkansas Council and the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority.
A funeral service through Moore’s Chapel Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville was held June 19 at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville.
