Benton County Leading State in Home Sales

The number of homes sold in Benton County through the first four months of the year account for about 17 percent of the statewide total.
That is according to the most recent data available from the Arkansas Realtors Association.
Through April, there were 1,480 homes sold in Benton County, an increase of 17 percent from the same time frame in 2013.
That was just ahead of Pulaski County (1,315) for the most among Arkansas’ 75 counties. They were the only two counties with more than 800 home sales through the first four months, according to the data.
Washington County (798), Saline County (497) and Sebastian County (418) round out the top five.
Statewide, there were 8,405 homes sold the first four months this year.
The median sales price for home sales in Benton County through April was $180,452, also a state-leading total.
The ARA data covers only homes sold by Realtors reporting through participating multiple listing services in Arkansas.
