Allison Architects And Ruby Architects Merge
Two Arkansas architecture firms — Allison Architects and Ruby Architects — have merged, according to the two companies. The new firm will be called Allison Architects, Inc.
A press release from the agencies said that the two firms have been collaborators for a number of years.
John Allison, AIA, LEED AP, Chris Hartsfield, AIA, and Aaron Ruby, AIA, LEED AP, will lead the merged firm, and Matthew Cabe, AIA, LEED AP is director of the Northwest Arkansas office in Fayetteville.
“Aaron and his firm excel in the ability to manage complex projects with consistent communication and detailed documentation,” said John Allison, President of Allison Architects. “They are a recognized leader in historic restoration, and we really enjoy the creativity and historic sensibility they bring to all of their designs.”
“Allison Architects is a leader in design, and is well known for their work especially in higher education and public libraries,” said Aaron Ruby, President of Ruby Architects. “We are excited to join a team whose capabilities fit perfectly with ours to continue serving our clients across the state and region.”
The merged firm will have a total of six licensed architects on its staff across offices in both Little Rock and Fayetteville.
Notable projects from the firms include the new Laman Argenta Branch Library; Willard J. Walker Hall for the Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville; and the restoration of Johnny Cash’s boyhood home in Dyess, Arkansas.
