River Valley’s Got Talent

The smallest stars in the Fort Smith area will be shining just a little brighter on the evening of Saturday, May 17 as youth and young adults from across the region will all converge on Creekmore Park’s Rose Room located at Rogers Avenue and South 31st St. to participate in the 1st annual “River Valley’s Got Talent” Youth Talent Showcase presented by The Children’s Bread Christian Preschool.  All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the non-profit preschool which is expected to open in late 2014.

The contest is open to all area youth from ages 5 up to 21, and a non-refundable entry fee of $10 is required for each participant or group.   Entry forms are available now by calling (479)-831-9605 or via email at [email protected].  The deadline to receive all entry forms is Saturday, May 10 at 5:00 p.m.   Winners in 5 age categories including K-3rd grades, 4-6th grades, 7-9th grades, 10-12th grades, and young adults will each receive prizes valued at $50-$200.

Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $2 for students, and may be purchased either in advance or at the door by calling (479)-831-9605.
