KARN Lets Steel, Elswick, Heinritz Go

KARN Newsradio 102.9 FM in Little Rock has released three of its on-air personalities, as first reported by Saline247.com.

Talk Business has also confirmed that morning news anchor Bob Steel, afternoon talk show host Dave Elswick, and news director Jack Heinritz were all dismissed on Thursday.

Steel, who also served as a TV news director for KARK and KATV, has been the morning anchor since 2008.

Elswick has hosted a popular conservative radio show in the afternoons since 2007. He originally came to the station in 2001.

Heinritz is also a radio broadcast veteran. He joined KARN in 2007 and frequently covered capitol news events.
