Clarity Pointe Memory Support Community Opens in Fayetteville
An assisted living community dedicated solely to dementia care recently opened in Fayetteville.
Clarity Pointe, a 42,650-SF property with 59 units, is located at 1967 W. Truckers Drive, just east of Sam’s Club.
Clarity Pointe is a licensed Level II assisted living community and has applied to be certified as an Alzheimer’s Special Care Unit by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care, said Linda Vigil, community relations director.
So far, 10 individuals have reserved spots in the community, and move-ins will start April 21, Vigil added.
The $9.5 million facility is divided into three neighborhoods: Crystal Lane, Clearview Court and Brighton Place.
The neighborhoods will act like a family unit, with staff members called quality of life partners eating meals with residents, as well as leading activities like gardening and music therapy, Vigil said.
A community courtyard, screened patio and other social areas — including a kitchen where meals are served — will be open to all residents.
Each 327-SF bedroom suite contains a small kitchenette, a custom-built wardrobe and a bathroom.
The cost to residents is $5,915 per month.
The staff-to-resident ratio is 4 to 1 overnight and 7 or 8 to 1 during the day, Vigil said.
