Scandinavian Masterworks leads audiences to imagine two completely different glacier carved landscapes — the narrow, steep walled fjords of Norway, then the vast forests and lakes of Finland — as acclaimed Maestro Corrado Rovaris leads the Artosphere Festival Orchestra (comprised of 80 premier musicians from around the world) in presenting romantic Scandinavian masterworks by Edvard Grieg (Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16) and Jean Sibelius (Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 43).
