Tolbert: AFP Hits Pryor On Obamacare With $700,000 Ad Buy

In what will be a recurring theme for the next eight months, another conservative group reminds Arkansas voters that Sen. Mark Pryor voted for Obamacare and that the policy is causing problems.

American for Prosperity is out with a new ad with a lady named Wanda who claims she lost her health insurance due to Obamacare.

AFP-Arkansas state director Jason Cline explained, “Senator Pryor chose to vote for the failing Obamacare policy, and he sticks by that policy even with the mounting negative effects it is having here in Arkansas on people like Wanda and Jerry Buckley. It’s time for Senator Pryor to face the facts and admit that ObamaCare is hurting Arkansas families,” said AFP-Arkansas state director Jason Cline in a press release announcing the ad.

“When somebody tells you ‘if you like it you can keep it,’ you believe them. But that’s not so in this case,” says Wanda in the ad who lost her health insurance with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. “You think that you’re going to be one of those unlucky people. But then to find out that it’s happening to so many.”

Expect to see a lot of Wanda over the next few weeks as AFP put down $700,000 for the ad buy.  This is the second ad AFP has bought on Obamacare in Arkansas this year.  Something tells me it will not be the last.
