Startup to Watch

A Springdale company is developing a line of at-home and in-clinic diagnostics equipment that will simplify the process of testing for ailments such as food allergies, respiratory disorders, chronic illnesses and sexually transmitted diseases.

Now Diagnostics Inc. aims to empower patients in terms of their own health care in a time when faith in the medical system is shaky for many, and the process can be complicated and inconvenient.

The company is still in the planning stage but is backed by NewRoad Ventures of Bentonville, which boasts as one of its partners entrepreneurial virtuoso Clete Brewer, CEO of BlueinGreen LLC.

NewRoad president and CEO Jeremy Wilson founded Now Diagnostics, and Kevin Clark leads the company as CEO.

The website and marketing campaign will be launched in early April.

But some Now Diagnostics marketing material on NewRoad’s website states, “We plan to change the world, one family at a time.”
