Northwest Arkansas-based restaurant chain Slim Chickens, as you’ll read in this issue, is moving to a new, larger headquarters in Fayetteville.
The company opened its first store in February 2003 and will open its 13th in Hot Springs later this week.
Eight of those are company-owned; the ninth is under construction on Wedington Drive in Fayetteville.
For further growth illustration, consider this: Company co-owner Greg Smart told Whispers that restaurant openings this year will happen in Lubbock, Texas, and Kansas City, Mo., both part of multi-unit development agreements with separate franchisees.
“Other territory agreements are currently in progress, and we are actively seeking qualified candidates for development nationwide,” he added.
