Grand Savings Bank of Grove, Okla., hopes to open its second full-service Arkansas branch in June.

GSB vice president Tyler Steele said the bank has recently received FDIC and state banking approval to open the branch in Rogers at 1303 W. Hudson Road at the intersection of 13th Street. GSB opened its first Arkansas branch in Bentonville in November.

GSB recently paid $154,500 for the property, and remodeling will begin right away, Steele said. The 560-SF building has housed several bank branches in the past but has been vacant for several years.

First Federal Bank of Harrison, the previous owner, was the most recent tenant.

Steele said Guy Cable, Martha Cook and Sara Robinson will be moving to the new location.
