Peter Pan Auditions with Western Arkansas Ballet

Western Arkansas Ballet, a nonprofit performing arts organization, will hold open auditions for its brand new production of Peter Pan, to be performed May 9 and 10 at the Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center in Fort Smith at 7:30 pm.  An open audition means that the audition is open to the public and not just those affiliated with Western Arkansas Ballet.

The auditions will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Western Arkansas Ballet Studio, 4701 Grand in Fort Smith, AR.  Boys and girls ages 8 – 10  will be able to register from 10:00 am until 10:30 am and attend an audition from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.  Boys and girls ages 11 years & up  will be able to register from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm and attend an audition from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. 

Candidates for Peter Pan parts should be at least 8 years of age and have at least two years’ dance experience.  Please wear appropriate dance clothing.  There are also parts for boys and adults with little dance experience.  If you are interested, please call 479-785-0152 for more information.

Western Arkansas Ballet's exciting new production presents the community and WAB Company an opportunity to bring a classic children's story to life.  Professional sets, props, and costumes will be rented, purchased, and created for an expected cast of over 50 local children and adults.
