NWA Fashion Week Planning Move to Bentonville
NWA Fashion Week, a philanthropic collaboration of local fashion designers and clothing boutiques, will be held somewhere in Bentonville this year, two sources told the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
The week-long event has been held in various Fayetteville venues since its inception two years ago, founded by Jade Terminella and Danielle Vaughan.
Although a specific site has not yet been determined, a Downtown Bentonville Inc. source said Fashion Week organizers approached the entity with wishes to move the event.
Last year, Fashion Week culminated with a runway show at The Chancellor Hotel in downtown Fayetteville and raised about $43,000 for local causes that included the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas and Spay Arkansas, according to a story published last year on the Fayetteville Flyer website.
A date for the event has not yet been announced.
