Huckabee to Headline Financial Forum in Rogers
Former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will make an appearance in Northwest Arkansas in March.
The NWA Financial Forum, sponsored by financial planning firm Mach 1 Financial Group of Bella Vista, is scheduled March 6 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. Huckabee, currently a political commentator for the Fox News Channel, will be the keynote speaker.
The forum will also feature roundtable discussions with some of the top financial advisors in the U.S. from Brookstone Capital Management, Guggenheim and Athene.
According to the Mach 1 website, net proceeds from the event will be given to The Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Huckabee, 58, was the governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007. He ran for president in 2008, finishing second in total delegates to Arizona Sen. John McCain.
He joined the Fox News Channel that same year and hosts the show Huckabee, a weekly political commentary program.
