BancorpSouth Opens New Fayetteville Location

BancorpSouth Bank of Tupelo, Miss., will hold the official grand opening for its new Fayetteville location on Jan. 31, according to senior vice president Robin Simpson.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled at 11 a.m.
The bank moved from leased space on Sunbridge Drive into the new branch at 3390 Futrall Drive on Dec. 9. The 2,040-SF space was acquired for $525,000 in September.
The bank also has an office at 701 S. 52nd St. in Rogers. Joyce Sears is the branch supervisor for both locations.
The Futrall Drive location will be staffed initially with five employees.
As of Sept. 30, according to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., BancorpSouth Bank had assets totaling $12.9 billion and deposits totaling $10.6 billion.
