Hannah Appointed Nabholz Chairman; Williams New CEO
Nabholz Construction Services of Conway announced that CEO Bill Hannah has been named chairman of the board and CFO Greg J. Williams will step into the role of chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.
The changes were approved by a unanimous vote of Nabholz’ board of directors during a Dec. 6 meeting. Chairman emeritus Charles Nabholz said the promotions are the culmination of several months of careful succession planning.
According to a company news release, Hannah is the first person outside the Nabholz family to be chairman of the board. Nabholz was founded in 1949.
“Bill has been an outstanding CEO for our company over the past 12 years, and I am confident that he will provide the same strong leadership as our company’s Chairman,” Nabholz said in a news release. “I am also delighted to see Greg step into his new role as CEO. He has proven himself as a strong leader, and he understands the financial and risk management aspects of our business.”
Williams, 54, has been CFO of the company for 18 years. He joined Nabholz as controller in 1991 and has served on the company’s board of directors for 11 years.
Nabholz, according to its website, has offices in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi and Missouri, and is currently ranked #112 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 400 Contractors in the nation. Nabholz is licensed to serve clients in 43 states.
